A highly regarded serial entrepreneur and investor, Satish sought to have a significant impact on cancer after losing several family members to the disease. He has leveraged his deep experience in the technology sector to envision a brighter future for cancer diagnosis, treatment, and research. Satish is passionate about the possibilities that artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and other advancements bring to the cancer care continuum. As Chairman and CEO of Inspirata, Satish has assembled a world-class team of cancer specialists, scientists, informaticists and technology experts to deliver on Inspirata’s mission to develop innovative cancer diagnostic solutions to optimize patient outcomes.
He founded his first company, IMRglobal, in 1988. From modest beginnings, IMRglobal grew into a major, international IT services firm that went public in 1996, and eventually had more than 3,000 employees worldwide. Following the sale of IMRglobal to CGI in 2001, Satish briefly served as its Vice Chairman to focus on the U.S. and European business and oversee the transition of operations. He then acquired and led Atlanta-based Zavata, a business process outsourcing and revenue cycle management firm servicing the healthcare provider and insurance market. Under Satish’s leadership, Zavata raised approximately $65 million from world-renowned venture capitalists, completed five acquisitions, including Siemens’ Revenue Cycle Management division, and was successfully sold to Apollo Hospitals in 2008.
Acknowledged for his innovation in software engineering and outsourcing, Satish was named Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur of the Year in 1998 and 1999, and Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999. He is widely credited as being the first to successfully marry the concept of concurrent software engineering and a 24-hour workday by using resources located in different time zones worldwide to expedite software delivery.

As Director of Human Resources, Joan is responsible for the company’s diverse workforce. She develops and implements the company’s global human resources strategy including talent acquisition and onboarding, development of employee benefits programs, compensation programs, performance management and workforce solutions.
Having started her career in accounting, Joan later gravitated to human resources and completed a human resources management program from the University of South Florida. Before joining Inspirata in 2015, Joan held positions of increasing responsibility over the last 20 years supporting and managing the human resource function in various business sectors including technology, manufacturing, senior living and the luxury boating industry.

Christine Lundquist leads all aspects of Finance at Inspirata, including accounting, systems integration and financial planning and analysis.
She is a senior finance executive with over 20 years of experience, including 14 years in Healthcare IT and Financial / Professional Services. She was the CFO, SVP of Finance and Controller at Acclaris, Inc., a SaaS, BPO and technology firm, previously PE-owned, and now part of the Willis Towers Watson Group. Before that, she managed Audit and Business Process Outsourcing divisions at Arthur Andersen.
Christine has hands-on experience with rolling out a cloud-based financial ERP and business management system when she worked as a CFO and Controller in the not-for-profit industry at one of the largest mega-churches in the Southeast. As part of this implementation, she brought the church’s processes and controls in line with current operational efficiency needs.
Christine is a CPA with the Florida and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She has a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida.

Based in Toronto, Canada, Laure brings her international business background to manage culturally and functionally diverse teams across Engineering, Product Strategy, Customer Support, and Pre-Sales Support.
She leverages more than two decades of progressive achievement with GE Healthcare (GEHC). Most recently, Laure worked at developing strategic partnerships leveraging Artificial Intelligence to transform healthcare. She previously served as Senior Director of Business Operations for GE Healthcare Digital, where she owned strategic relationships and led the overall Sales, Marketing, and Growth Strategy for GE Healthcare Digital across Canada.
Laure has a Master’s degree in Medical Imaging from the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in France. She has an Engineering degree in Automatic, Electronic, and Computer Sciences from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées in Toulouse, France. More recently, she completed the Design Thinking and Creativity for Business program at the top-ranking global business school, INSEAD. She also has Professional Training and Development accolades from various courses at the GE Global Leadership Institute and is a Project Management Professional.

George Cernile has more than 30 years of experience in developing successful AI systems in medical and industrial domains.
George is the chief architect behind Inspirata’s technology, conceiving novel techniques for medical text processing and inference capabilities that are the backbone of the company’s world-class AI and NLP products. He began that work almost two decades ago with AIM Canada, a Toronto-based company that got acquired by Inspirata in 2018.
Prior to that, George was the lead knowledge engineer with MDS (now LifeLabs) where he designed expert systems for automatic lab testing. In the past, George had also served as the head of the R&D computing department with the Steel Company of Canada (Stelco). George’s expertise also led him to develop and teach college courses in Expert Systems and Neural Networks.
George holds a degree in physics and computer science and was awarded a Fellowship in Artificial Intelligence and a Certification in Knowledge Engineering (CKE). He also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification since 2008.

Balakrishna (Bala) Chavali brings a wealth of software development and agile project management experience, garnered from working with people at all levels of the company. He is always focused on producing critical and high-level development, coordination, and workable solutions that are necessary for the effective management of various products.
Bala's excellent interpersonal skills, technical and human resource management skills, and social insight, highlight his valuable assemblage of productive teams. He is a charismatic, result-oriented leader with commitment towards building a conducive work environment and maximizing opportunities for individual, group, and company growth. Prior to this role, Bala served at different companies – including Infosys and GE Healthcare - designing, and delivering successful programs, handling project executions, team building, and performance management, among others.
Based in Kitchener, Canada, Bala has a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Anna University, India and an Ontario Graduate Certificate in Enterprise Content Management from Conestoga College, Canada. His portfolio also includes the following affiliations and certifications: CSM, SASM, and SCJP. As a Clinical Product Specialist, Michele works alongside our Project and Sales teams. Her main tasks include performing detailed customers’ requirements analysis, documenting processes, performing user acceptance testing, and assisting our sales team with selling our portfolio of Cancer Registry solutions.
Michelle brings more than 22 years of experience with working in CoC and NAPBC-accredited cancer programs, including community, comprehensive community, and academic centers in SEER and non-SEER states. Most recently, she was the Manager of Cancer Support Services at Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, CA. In the past, she had served as CTR, Manager of Cancer Registry, as well as CCRC at diverse institutions, such as Washington State Cancer Registry (WSCR), SCL Health Systems Services, etc. In addition to her extensive knowledge from working for organizations on the Provider and the State Registry sides, she has first-hand experience with Product Support in the healthcare technology space as she spent 4 years at IMPAC Medical Systems, Inc. (now Elekta, Inc.)
Michele is often invited as a speaker and faculty at numerous NCRA, AHIMA, cancer registry and health information technology (HIT) educational conferences and workshops across the United States. Michele has contributed articles, educational resources, and other publications in multiple nationally recognized clinical journals.

As a Sales Enablement Manager, Samantha’s main tasks include overseeing the SDR team’s daily activities, assisting our Sales team with selling our software solutions, and coordinating with Marketing on various lead-generation campaigns and other promotional activities.
Samantha brings extensive and valuable first-hand expertise from the provider’s side. Immediately before joining Inspirata, she supervised 11 direct reports in Radiation Oncology at Nazareth Hospital. Previously, she was a Chief Radiation Therapist at Temple University Hospital, a PRN Therapist at Fox Chase Cancer Center, and a Staff Radiation Therapist at Lankenau Medical Center. In those roles, she served as a point of contact for Medical, Surgical and Radiation Oncologists. Her duties also included obtaining authorization for cancer treatments and providing education to cancer patients.
Samantha is a Registered Technologist – Radiation Therapy (RTS) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). She has a Bachelor of Science from Thomas Jefferson University.

Suhas has over 30 years of experience as a business and technology executive. Over his career, he has created and managed product engineering labs in a distributed environment.
Suhas has successfully built and scaled up engineering teams for start-ups to large enterprises. He has successfully integrated over 20 acquired companies.
Suhas was the co-founder of Anju Life Sciences where he served as the Chief Technology and Product Officer. Prior to that, he was the CTO at AFS Technologies, where he was responsible for strategy and ensuring the company continues to bring cutting-edge technology solutions. Before AFS, Suhas was the Practice Head and VP of Software Services at CGI Consulting where he managed the application and e-business development practice. Helping that practice generate revenue of over $160 million, he was the recipient of the Chairmna's Pinnacle award.
Suhas has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Technology in India and MS in Computer Systems from Boston University with specializations in Enterprise Architecture and Project Methodologies. He is also a certified CMA from IMA, USA.

Mark Morsch is a strategic advisor to executive leadership of early-stage healthcare start-up companies to support market positioning, next stage growth, and expanded patient trials.
Previously, for 10 years Mr. Morsch was vice president of technology at Optum leading strategy and innovation initiatives for artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NLP) capabilities across products. He led a team of technology and industry experts that developed, commercialized, and scaled AI & NLP technology for providers, payers and life sciences.
As an entrepreneur, Mark was part of the founding team for A-Life Medical, a pioneering company which applied AI & NLP to clinical documentation and coding. A-Life Medical was acquired by Optum in 2010 for $85M.
Mark is an inventor with 15 patents in AI, NLP and health information. Also pending patents include clinical documentation improvement and early disease detection. He was co-inventor and primary architect of the patented LifeCode NLP engine that today processes billions of pages of clinical documents per year for providers and payers.

Rajan Gopalakrishnan, MS, is the director for informatics and information technology (IT) at the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center. Rajan joined in May 2011 with 16 years of experience in healthcare and public health IT consulting where he worked with several large regional hospital systems and state and public health organizations.
As the director for informatics, Rajan is responsible for the design, maintenance, upkeep of all informatics and IT capabilities within the Cancer Center. In addition, he participates in setting future strategy and the roadmap for cancer informatics functions that will provide cutting-edge support for Comprehensive Cancer Center researchers and staff.
Rajan is a member of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) and likes to pursue interesting developments in public health informatics within the cancer domain.

Dr. Ulysses Balis is a health informatics practice and policy thought leader and experienced division director with a demonstrated history of leading successful high-impact teams in both industry and academia.
He is a board-certified Pathology Informaticist with a longstanding interest in the intersection of computational approaches and the practice of medicine, and is skilled in machine learning, image analysis, medical device development, molecular diagnostics, biotechnology, and management.
Dr. Balis is the author of over 100 publications, multiple patents, and numerous book chapters. He has delivered over 180 invited presentations, nationally and internationally, on various topics related to pathology informatics, image analysis, data analytics, and automation. He has active, NIH R01-supported research initiatives in several areas of pathology and medical informatics, including machine learning and use of encoded data, image-based analytics, machine vision tools for histopathology, image-based search algorithms, and federated enterprise data architectures.
