Back End Developer

Location: Toronto

Position Description:

We are looking for a senior developer specifically with Node JS and Azure Devops experience to work with our NLP/AI and Clinical Trials products. This position requires expert level experience and will be responsible for managing this aspect of the development that includes some offshore staff. Looking for at least 5 years’ experience. You will be responsible for development, documentation, testing and deployment of web applications in a team environment. You will work on software applications that solve complex healthcare problems and aid healthcare professionals in the fight against cancer.

Requirements:

  • University degree in computer science or engineering

Strategic Account Executive - Digital Pathology

Location: Sales Territory - U.S. East Coast

Position Description:

Inspirata is looking for an experienced and motivated Strategic Account Executive (SAE) to develop prospective accounts for our Digital Pathology solutions.  This role requires a hands-on innovative sales professional that knows how to engage with the executive and clinical administrative leaders of large healthcare organizations and cancer centers.  A successful candidate will have experience in Managed Sales and Services (preferably in Oncology, Digital Pathology).   The ideal SAE should possess knowledge of the medical device industry.  Additionally, knowledge of the acute clinical processes, diagnostic imaging solutions, and/or data management/reporting practices is a plus. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assume ownership for delivering aggressive revenue growth through planning and executing account-specific sales strategies
  • Identify and build close relationships with a network of key C-level clinical, technical and executive leaders to promote adoption and use of Inspirata’s Digital Pathology products and solutions
  • Grow Inspirata’s footprint and expand business relationships in the US through frequent engagement and other innovative communication strategies in conjunction with our Marketing team.
  • Assist in designing and executing effective sales strategies that create broad strategic partnership arrangements, and/or drive adoption of a broad set of point solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related industry desired
  • 10+ years relevant sales experience targeting large health systems, from lead generation to close
  • 5+ years selling to C-Level executives, demonstrating a strong professional presence, command of subject matter and presentation delivery
  • The ability to listen and probe before pitching solutions or explaining our offerings and the ability to connect the dots between client pain points and potential solution approaches
  • True understanding of business partnerships that involve consultative selling of high end managed services in an emerging industry

Oncology Sales Support Consultant - Clinical Trial Matching

Location: Remote

Position Description:

The Oncology Sales Support Consultant role is a unique opportunity to employ your clinical nursing expertise in a new way outside of patient care, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through Inspirata’s Clinical Trial Matching solution. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with Oncology experience and a desire to expand their talents in the field of clinical trial matching sales support, client training and education.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Oncology Sales Support Consultant, are to:

  • Support the sales process by demonstrating a mastery of the product’s clinical efficacy and articulate a strong value proposition for the customer
  • Develop an in-depth mastery of clinical and technical knowledge related to the products promoted and disease state management
  • Adopt a consultative, solutions focused approach to understanding the customer’s requirements
  • Deliver amazing presentations and software demonstrations showcasing the capabilities and value of Inspirata’s software solutions
  • Demonstrate a mastery of knowledge and analysis of business, products, technical issues and the marketplace
  • Be extremely customer focused and build and foster strong positive relationships with key decision makers and opinion leaders
  • Exemplify strong collaboration and teamwork skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively share best practices that lead to achieving or exceeding business goals
  • Act as a resource and trusted product advisor to educate sales colleagues on relevant product knowledge

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent level of study to meet the requirements for this position
  • At least five years of Oncology Medical experience or nurse equivalent

Medical Informatics Analyst

Location: Toronto

Position Description:

The ideal candidate will take a role in the development of Inspirata’s medical knowledge bases, tools, and techniques, assisting in the development and enhancement of Inspirata’s knowledge processing capabilities as part of a larger group that includes AI software development.

In this role, you will also be responsible for the analytical testing and analysis of the various knowledge-based systems, use the appropriate methodologies and carrying it out in a systematic way. Working with the team, this may include developing new processes and refining existing ones.
This role requires an understanding of the language and contents of various medical reports (oncological path reports, genomic reports, hematology, radiology, etc.), as well as the cancer registration and data collection process, and knowledge of medical terminology.

You will also take part in various development projects that require problem-solving, and collaboration among diverse clinical and non-clinical groups, with a focus on disease reporting and translation data to various coding systems such as ICD and SNOMED. This position may require interaction with client domain experts as well as the ability to interpret and document this domain knowledge.

You will be assigned to various projects as appropriate, including new product development, product upgrades, custom client projects, and internal research & development.

Training in the required knowledge engineering methods will be provided.

Requirements:

  • Assist in the development of ontologies, classification systems, knowledge base structures and general knowledge engineering methodologies for enhancing AIM AI capabilities
  • Become familiar with the current state of analytics tools and protocols used by the AI group and recommend improvement to such tools
  • Be able to read and interpret the content of diagnostic reports with respect to clinical data collection and registration
  • Extend the above capability to other types of cancer reporting such as genomic data, radiology, hematology and possibly non cancer medical reporting
  • Perform testing functions including test case creation and reference data maintenance, initially in cancer pathology and possibly moving to other medical reporting domains
  • Work with clients and developers to assist in activities such as domain knowledge acquisition and knowledge base enhancements
  • Prepare technical documentation for review and approval
  • Perform other analysis type duties as assigned by the manager from time to time

  • Basic medical knowledge/ terminology and coding system knowledge preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates with basic programing skills in one or more software tools

UI/UX Designer

Location: Remote

Position Description:

The User-Experience Designer will be responsible for conceiving and conducting user research, interviews and surveys, and translating them into wireframes, and prototypes. The design needs to be responsive and scale from phones, tablets, desktops to high resolution medical grade monitors. You will work on software applications that solve complex healthcare problems and aid healthcare professionals in the fight against cancer.

Essential Functions:

  • Translate requirements into wireframes and mockups that lead to sketch prototype design for intuitive user experiences
  • Facilitate client’s product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for portals specific to health care administrators, clinicians, and patients
  • User-centered design approach with dashboard UI/UX to rapidly test and iterate your customer facing application designs
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Defining interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features with collaboration amongst other team members and stakeholders
  • Conduct competitor and customer analysis to assess our UI/UX vis-à-vis our competition as well as usability testing for products

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of UI/UX responsive design experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in UI/UX software such as Axure and InVision
  • Proven experience in UI/UX with HTML5, CSS3, Javascipt and other web scripting languages
  • Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio (online or pdf)
  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed portal requirements and design
  • Extensive experience in using UI/UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
  • A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, and usability and accessibility concerns
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
  • Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism
  • BS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or related field

Position Description:

Develop AI applications using techniques such as natural language processing, heuristic search/pattern matching and inference engines. You will be responsible for discovery, analysis, design, coding, documentation and testing in a team environment. You will also develop and maintain analytics capabilities for Inspirata Canada’s knowledge-based technologies, becoming familiar with and using tools for knowledge base analysis, performance tracking and testing.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree in computer science or engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Experienced in C#, .NET, SQL, relational database and Microsoft Visual Studio.
  • Knowledge in algorithms, data structures, multithreading and object-oriented design.
  • Experience with NLP, expert systems and other AI technologies are significant assets.
  • Knowledge in ASP.NET, Entity Framework, and Python is desired.
