Dr. Ganesan received his MD and PhD from Yale University. He underwent training in Internal Medicine at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where he served as Chief Medical Resident, and completed a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. He is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine and Associate Director of Translational Science at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Dr. Ganesan specializes in the treatment of breast cancer and rare cancers. His basic science laboratory investigates DNA repair abnormalities and cancer genomics, with a focus on use of next-generation genomic approaches for cancer classification and treatment.
