Dynamyx™ from Inspirata affords an ‘open’ architecture purposely designed to enable healthcare providers to arrive at their preferred blend of laboratory and diagnostic technologies. Inspirata’s technical partnership with Hamamatsu Photonics ensures the seamless integration of its NanoZoomer series of whole slide image (WSI) scanners into Dynamyx™.


Hamamatsu possess a decade of real-world experience in delivering sophisticated whole slide imaging (WSI) solutions across the globe. Hamamatsu’s NanoZoomer whole slide scanner series quickly transform entire histology and cytology glass slides into diagnostic-quality digital images for duplication, annotation, storage, retrieval, and image sharing. Their intuitive viewer software and patented navigation map technique enable users to scan slides in a variety of modes and share images across networks. Applications include routine and computer-aided diagnosis in laboratories, research, education, and telepathology.

Shared Inspirata Dynamyx™ and Hamamatsu customers now possess the ability to view native Hamamatsu .ndpi images within Dynamyx™.  Enabling laboratories to leverage existing investments in Hamamatsu scanners and procure with the confidence of compatibility going forward, the seamless integration of NanoZoomer provides:

HAMAMATSU PHOTONICS IN DIGITAL PATHOLOGY The Hamamatsu Photonics NanoZoomer range provides clinical laboratories with the ability to overcome the boundaries in pathology such as slide degradation, lack of resources, physical transportation, loss and damage of slides. Hamamatsu, in conjunction with Inspirata, facilitates image sharing via a network to aid consultation, information dissemination and record keeping of patient information, maximizing technology to enable rapid access to diagnoses.

In EU, four types of NanoZoomer (NanoZoomer-SQ, NanoZoomer S210, NanoZoomer S60, NanoZoomer S360), NDP.view2 (U12388-21), NDP.view2 Plus (U12388-22) and NDP.serve3 software are CE marked under EU’s In Vitro Diagnostics Directive (IVDD) for in vitro diagnostic use. In China, five types of NanoZoomer (NanoZoomer 2.0-HT, NanoZoomer2.0-RS, NanoZoomer -SQ, NanoZoomer S210, NanoZoomer S60) are registered for in vitro diagnostic use.

In the US, Japan and other countries, NanoZoomer is for research use only and is not permitted to use for clinical diagnostic purposes.
