The third Nottingham Molecular Pathology Node AGM will take place on October 12, 2018 at Nottinghamshire County Cricket Ground. The event is hosted by the University of Nottingham, EPSRC and Medical Research Council. The closing presentation for the event agenda features Inspirata EVP and Founder, Mark Lloyd, PhD., who will speak about computer-aided companion diagnostic tools.
Dr. Lloyd’s talk will examine how Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to whole slide image features can enhance the pathology workflow by saving time for surgical pathologists, molecular pathologists and clinicians. Use the following link to review the NPMN Agenda.
The implementation of whole slide scanning, digital pathology workflows and advances in software and computer processing and storage capacities have profoundly impacted not only routine clinical diagnosis, but have also spurred the development of AI-enabled image analysis algorithms.
